save the internet

Keep the internet free from censorship and defend our right to share!

The US Congress is poised to pass a law (PIPA/SOPA) allowing the US to censor access to any website around the world. If this new law is passed the doors will swing open to a flood of other laws that will stop our right to freedom of speech, to share our views, content and ideas.

The internet was designed as a free platform for people to share information with each other. These new laws will stop that once and for all.

Don’t let them brake OUR internet.

The beauty of the web is there for all to see – it’s evened out the playing field for everyone. You and I can now voice our opinions openly and freely without be suppressed and threatened by the power bases that have traditionally controlled what gets shared and publicised.

If you want to keep the internet free from censorship , then i recommend signing up to this….save the internet today!

Find out what a bill like PIPA/SOPA actually means to our shareable world? Clay Shirky (from the TED offices) delivers a unique manifesto — a call to defend our freedom to create, discuss, link and share, rather than passively consume.
